Then you'd have to track everything on a database (or in a Journal!) so you knew where each person was in the sequence.

Step 2 - Grab a piece of paper, and write out the conversation you would like to have if you could personally visit your prospect's home every couple of days. This conversation should be designed to build a relationship with your readers and convince them to buy from you. Write down all the things you'd say and work out the questions you'd expect them to have, and then turn that into a sequence of messages.

Now obviously you're not going to be able to get feedback and answer your reader's questions on the spot, so you are going to have to imagine the questions they would have, and answer all of them in your email sequence. So, script out that conversation, and write a series of autoresponder messages that build a relationship just like you would do in person.
