Walmart's New Savings Catcher Called The Killer App

By Dawood Sajid

Walmart has released a brand new savings catcher called the Killer app. This will allow people to always know what is on sale. It will also get them the best deals when they shop at the store.
In today's world, having an app for your store will put you above everyone else. If you notice that your competition has an app, you will need one too. This is what happened with Walmart. Target has an app and now Walmart needs one. The public was expecting it and will be happy with it. It will help people save money a little easier and in return might choose to shop there over other places.

The Savings Catcher app compares prices with printed ads issued by competitors. This is a good way to compare current discounts but the app will not compare prices if a product is sold by a competitor who did not mark it down. If a cheaper price is found for the same product in a printed ad from a local competitor, the customer will obtain the price difference through the Savings Catcher program.

Users can check their Savings Catcher balance through the app and redeem the savings for a gift card. An eGift Card is issued and can be used online or in Walmart stores. The Savings Catcher program can also be access on the Walmart websites for users who do not wish to download the app.

In the end, the Savings Catcher app is a good way to save money and time since users no longer have to go through printed ads to find lower prices or travel to other nearby stores to purchase a discounted product. However, the app does not compare prices with products that are not marked down at the moment. The app is very quick and convenient to use, which makes it ideal for users who wish to save money without investing time and effort into comparing prices or couponing.

As with most larger corporations that have an online website, which makes it very easy to track what people are buying because it is all entered and processed on the Web, taking advantage of the information as to what people are buying in the regular stores has always been separate information. In fact, most of that information is never recorded, simply providing people with discounts using the cards or the apps that they bring to the store to get the cost savings. Now, with the Savings Catcher Killer App by Wal-Mart, they can combine all of this information, purchases made online and off-line, in order to get a better representation of the patterns of consumer so as to provide them with discounts on exactly what they purchase on a regular basis.
